B’S METAL?Recycling Plant will no longer be transferring its metal dump to Bagatelle, St Thomas.
Yesterday, six days after the massive fire at its present location at Cane Garden in the same parish, operator of the business Paul Bynoe removed all of his equipment from Bagatelle, which was earmarked to be the new site.
Trucks lined up to remove the state-of-the-art million dollar metal shredder, containers and other equipment which had been lying idle for the past nine months because of residents’ objections.
While he refused to answer journalists’ questions about the move, Bynoe gave reporters gathered at Bagatelle, a news release stating that the scrap metal yard may be relocated to Vaucluse, also in St Thomas.
