Bishop living in horrible conditions

Harold Bishop lives in conditions many would deem unimaginable.
The elderly St Michael resident is appealing for some help even as he tries to make the best of his situation.
“I’m a sick man and I would like some help because I can’t do any better,” he said.
Bishop said he had problems with his legs but still had to get around in order to survive – collecting his pension cheques and buying food to cook on his kerosene stove.
He has no telephone and no electricity and uses an outhouse.
To make things worse, Bishop’s nephew Ivan Bishop has a home next door that many would also consider uninhabitable.
The DAILY NATION understands Ivan is currently in Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds, where he has spent the last year and is due to be released this month. (CA)
