GOVERNMENT IS targeting August to present its Financial Statement and Budgetary Proposals for 2013-2014.
Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler said he would need the time in order to complete close consultations with the tripartite Social Partnership and a range of economic stakeholders.
“I am shooting for August. I have to do some major consulting on the revised plan with the social partners and other stakeholders,” he told the WEEKEND NATION on Wednesday.
He said he would only present the Budget in July if he were able to complete those consultations over the next two months.
