Police have arrested and jointly charged Jermaine Julian Worrell, 22 years and Hilary Vladimir Glasglow 23 years, both of Bridge Road, Cave Hill, St. Michael for the offence of arson.
They were arrested and charged for committing damage by fire to the metal compound belonging to B’s Recycling on 25th of March 2013.
Investigations revealed that they both went to the compound with a pan cart containing electrical cable to sell. They were informed of the price of copper when extracted from the cable and decided to burn the cable to get the copper. They took the cable and set it on fire immediately next to the metal compound which spread to the metal compound.
Worrell and Glasglow are expected to appear at the District A Magistrate Court on Friday April 12, 2013.
