A LIFT IN A CAR with someone whom she never met before nearly cost Tara Alleyne her life.
Alleyne was in the vehicle which was involved in the accident on Sunday, March 17, on Prescod Boulevard, Bridgetown, that claimed the life of 19-year-old student Rachel Pilgrim, and injured her friends Jilisa Ifill and Jalisa Clement. Both Ifill and Clement are now recovering at home after being treated and released from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Alleyne is, however, still hospitalized having received surgery on her broken right femur (thigh) last Thursday.
The 26-year-old mum related that the accident was more than just about being in the wrong place in the wrong time. It was more a case of bad luck for an entire day.
