Ladies rock the runway

Losing weight is the goal for many women, but shedding the pounds is not an easy task.
But for these women who participated in the Avante Blue Medical weight loss challenge, hitting the catwalk recently at the Sherbourne Conference Centre provided them with the opportunity to showcase their new bodies and new attitudes.
These women certainly were happy to strut their stuff after many lost between 20-102 pounds.
“We’re giving people the opportunity to transform their lives,” said Dr Greg Crichlow, the brains behind the programme.
“We use a programme of metabolic fusion which is tailor-made to suit every individual,” he said. “We wanted to move away from building weight loss around a product. So we sit down with each person and draft a programme that consists of diet, support supplements or medication and movement.”
The women on the catwalk were beaming and excited to show off their weeks and months of hard work. (SH-O)
