The parents of 18-year-old Romario Husbands who died Sunday after a collision between the bicycle he was riding and a car, are today in deep grief.
The accident took place at Colleton, St Lucy.
Romario’s father, Martin Husbands with whom he lived at Lower Carlton, St James told the MIDWEEK?NATION, “My son was obedient, quiet and he was a good boy who attended the Frederick Smith Secondary School and was doing tiling and masonry the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytecnic. I last saw my son around 12 o’clock on Sunday afternoon at home and I told him I was going to work and he said that he was going to do some repairs to the bicycle and the next thing I hear that he got knocked down off his bicycle.
“I am going to miss him cause he would be with me during the week, Monday to Friday, and would go to the Polytechnic from there and now it’s just me.” (RL)
