Residents in a number of St Michael and St Thomas districts will be experiencing low water pressure today.
The areas include Waterford, Lodge Hill, Cave Hill, Eden Lodge, Codrington, Jackson, Hothersal Turning, Rock Dundo, Spooners Hill, Green Hill,Shop Hill, Redmans Village, Welches Terrace, Welches Heights, Edge Hill, Arthur Seat and the surrounding areas.
A release from the Barbados Water Authority this morning said the low pressure is due to some repairs which crews will be undertaking at the Waterford Pumping station due to equipment failure there.
As a result of this work, the Lodge Hill and Shop Hill reservoirs have been affected and will cause residents to experience low pressure and outages.
Water Tankers have been dispatched to assist customers in the affected areas. The BWA has cautioned though that there may be some delays due  to the high volume of demand. (CM)
