Remember when Gabby sang about the A-list? It sent many people scrambling to find out if their names were on it. Well, a similar list is circulating at a certain organization and it is driving staff crazy.
Word reaching P&S is that a man who works there is presently hospitalized in critical condition and he has given a long list of names of his sexual partners to his wife to warn them to get tested.
We understand that a number of female staff at the organization are now running scared – as well a number of young girls who were running around with this man.
People are saying that a number of these women were only caught up with his money and fancy car because he was seriously lacking in the looks department. Now they may be paying the ultimately price for not putting the brakes on his advances.
“R” word in Govt circles
An “R” word is making the rounds in official circles that insiders say will soon come to dominate the affairs of Government. That word is “rationalization”.
Those in the know say that at recent important stakeholder meetings this word was repeatedly used to describe the administration’s thinking about the way forward.
The question that people are asking is: What does this word mean in the context of curbing Government’s expenses and getting business done faster?
They note that rationalization is about making more efficient and effective use of resources within an entity to achieve greater productivity. It includes consolidation of departments and even entities, reassignment of responsibilities and shedding some staff in the process.
These insiders are wondering if the Government plans to do all or just some of these things in the near future. And if they are, when will they let the public know?
Ill-treatment of sick staffer
Employees at a certain hotel are still in shock over how one of their sick colleagues was treated.
Apparently, the woman, who recently succumbed to cancer, was treated so horribly when she was ill that it sent her pressure through the roof.
P&S was told that the woman was constantly called though she was on sick leave, being asked when she was going back to work. She became so paranoid about losing her job that, against doctor’s orders, she went back to work, even though she was not well enough.
However, in less than two weeks she was back on sick leave and this time she was fired. By the next week she was dead.
Employees want the union or the Labour Office to urgently investigate this matter because they are convinced that this poor woman, who had given so many faithful years to the workplace, was unceremoniously sent to her grave.
Things heating up
Last week we told you about the legal eagle who has gotten his former mistress pregnant.
Well, we understand that the hierarchy of the church which he faithfully attends is investigating his extramarital affair and is considering stripping him of his duties.
It is also understood that his wife is blaming the pregnant young woman for the affair and has taken to harassing her in order to teach her a lesson.
But friends of the pregnant lass say she intends to make headlines if the legal eagle does not put his name on her child’s birth certificate.
