Barbadians are being asked to help fund medical care for eight-year-old Keana Banfield, who is in critical condition in a Miami hospital.
The call is coming from her family, which is trying to raise the minimum US$340 000 quotation from the Holtz Children’s Hospital at the Jackson Memorial Medical Centre.
The family has set up an account with the number 714279 at ScotiaBank in Rockley, Christ Church, in Keana’s name, hoping Bajans will give generously.
Family member Racquel Jordan told the DAILY NATION yesterday: “Barbadians are making their donations graciously but we are calling for continuous support because doctors are saying she is going to be there [in hospital] for quite some time.” (AH)
Help Keana get well!
