Two people appeared in court yesterday to answer charges of human trafficking.
Amelia Allison Joseph, 36, of St Michael, and 22-year-old Keenon Tristan Chase, of Bridgetown, appeared before Magistrate Deborah Holder, but their charges were so many that by 3:30 p.m. the magistrate called a halt, saying she would read the remainder today.
Joseph was granted $30 000 bail – $10 000 for the District “B” matters on April 30 and $20 000 for today’s District “A” charges.
Chase, however, was remanded to HMP Dodds overnight until his return to the District “A” court.
