He might?be a few pounds heavier and his swing is right handed. But the sight of Brian Charles Lara swinging a golf club at the annual Garry Sobers Golf Classic at Royal Westmoreland yesterday was just as thrilling for fans as if he was still playing masterstrokes in cricket.
Lara and Sir Garry, both former West Indies captains and champion left-handed batsmen, share a passion for golf.
