The yearly vigils outside of the Deighton Griffith and Christ Foundation Schools continued today with hundreds of primary school children making their varied treks to those institutions to sit the Barbados Secondary School Entrance Examination.
From early, parents arrived with the young students, using the last minutes to give support, advice or just warm hugs and kisses.
The same scene was obvious at the Foundation School with the parents and guardians remaining on the perimeters while Class Four teachers and principals from Christ Church Girls, Milton Lynch Primary and St Christopher got their students into groups to give them last minute pep talks.  Just three students were present from the Jones Private School.
