EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION is very important to the development of Barbados, according to Minister of Education Ronald Jones.
Speaking yesterday, he said that children developed the tactile, visual, mind and sensory senses early in their lives, a stage which was significant to their own developmental process and the country’s “social fabric existence”.
The remarks were made at the opening of the Beginners Haven Kindergarten Preschool at Hastings, Christ Church. Afterward, Jones toured the school, which is catering to children between the ages of 18 months and four years. (AH)
