Nurses Week highlights healthy living tips

SEVERAL?PATRONS dropped in at a Health Fair hosted yesterday by the Barbados Nurses Association at Jubilee Gardens.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of the Nurses Week visitors were given health checks as they went about their business in The City.
It was all part of the celebration of International Nurses Day, which was observed on Sunday, May 12.
In addition to offering educational advice on healthy living, there were blood pressure checks, blood sugar monitoring, cholesterol testing, and HIV testing. Several pharmaceutical agencies, cancer support services and insurance agents were represented.
