Jade?Padmore?is more known for his fast bowling but he can now boast of two centuries at the highest level of domestic cricket.
Promoted to open the innings, a position which he occupied as a schoolboy at Christ Church Foundation, the tall left-hander justified the faith shown in him by scoring a responsible 105 off 209 balls in 255 minutes for ESAF Pickwick against Carlton at the Foursquare Oval yesterday.
His century, which contained eight fours and a six, enabled Pickwick to reach 229 for four at the end of the first day of their second series LIME Elite match.
Padmore also made a century for Pickwick, batting down the order against LIME, five years ago.
