Men charged with robbery of tourist

Two men were jointly charged today with a robbery offence against a German national.
The two are Corey Jamar Coppin, 26, of Lead Vale, Christ Church, and Jaleel Antoine Kellman 17, of Hinks Road, Carrington Village, St Michael who were charged jointly for the offence  which occurred on May 11 in St Lawrence Gap.
They appeared at the District A Magistrate Court today.
Coppin pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nine months in prison.
Kellman pleaded not guilty and received bail in the sum of $3 000 with one surety, to return to court on September.
