When artists come together to showcase and exhibit their work, there is always some measure of excitement in the air. After all, such opportunities gives art critics and lovers of art the opportunity to compare, critique and most of all, find pleasure in choosing that one endearing piece.
Regional and Caribbean artists have again united as one to exhibit their works during a group exhibition at the Barbados Arts Council, Pelican Village, Harbour Road, The City.
Whether your preference is oil showcasing beautiful country scenes, or you have a yen for abstract, painted floral tapestries, animal or plant life, you can now find them all under one roof during an art exhibition which runs until May 25.
Among the artists displaying their creations are Clairmonte Taitt, Everick Lynton, Virgin Broodhagen, Mary Gibbs, Margo Gunby, Glenroy Jordan, John Stuart (deceased) and many more.
Options and opportunities await. (CH)
