Police have arrested and charged two men for the robberies at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies.
They are Nicholas Henry Rico Bailey, 23 years of Phillips Road, St Stephen’s Hill, Black Rock, Saint Michael and Shaquille Rashad Dacosta Walters, 18 years of Long Gap, Spooners Hill, Saint Michael for a total of 5 robberies which occurred at the Cave Hill Campus.
The two mentioned accused have been jointly charged for three robberies that occurred on the 14 May 2013;
Bailey has been charged for two robberies that occurred on the 22 April 2013.
Cellphones and money were stolen from the victims. A stolen cellphone has been recovered. (PR)
