WITH?JUST?OVER?A?MONTH to go before its start date, Bushy Park’s multimillion-dollar redevelopment plan seems to have hit a red light.
With work scheduled to begin on July 1, the Town Planning Department has revealed that no permission has yet been granted to the project’s developers.
Deputy Chief Town Planner George Browne told the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday that to date the department  had not even received an application requesting permission.
“As far as I know no permission has been granted for any redevelopment plan at Bushy Park,” he disclosed during an interview.
“Furthermore there hasn’t been any application from the developers concerning Bushy Park.”
