Three departments at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital have been affected by flooding.
Chief Executive Officer at the QEH Dr Dexter James said they were currently mopping up those departments, including the Accident and Emergency Department.
He said most of the clean up of the affected areas has already been completed.
However, Dr James is urging that only individuals with genuine emergencies and life threatening cases visit the Accident and Emergency Department to the area to be properly cleaned. He directed others with medical cases to polyclinics around the island.
More details to come
