Three held in car chase remanded to Dodds

THREE MEN who allegedly led police on a high-speed chase earlier this week were remanded on gun, ammunition and drug charges when they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Maradona Omar King, of Allman Road, Checker Hall, St Lucy; Jamal McCloud Chandler, of Half Moon Fort, St Lucy; and Tony Nathaniel Kyle Jones, of Clinketts Gardens, in the same parish, were jointly charged with, but not required to plead to, having a firearm – a shotgun – and five rounds of ammunition in their possession. Those offences allegedly occurred within Holetown’s jurisdiction.
The men are also jointly accused of  having 2 467 grammes of marijuana in their possession; having the drug with intent to supply; and drug trafficking. The marijuana had a street value of $10 870.
