Cable & Wireless Barbados, which trades as LIME, and its managing director Alex McDonald are parting ways.
When contacted yesterday McDonald said he was “not confirming or denying” that he was leaving the top job to which was appointed on March 16, 2009.
He told the DAILY?NATION?that out of respect he would allow LIME?to make the announcement regarding his future with the company.
Late yesterday evening the company’s corporate communications manager Carolyn Williams-Gay issued a statement saying: “Gerard Borely, chief executive officer, and Alex McDonald have stepped down from their respective roles in LIME. However, they will continue to work for LIME through a transition period.” (GE)
