To the delight of residents of the surrounding St Philip districts of East Point, Clarke’s Hill, Marley Vale and Lyder’s Hill, St Catherine’s Anglican Church reopened its doors to worship for the first time in four months following a damaging lightning strike.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, Bishop Dr John Holder and two cabinet ministers were among those packing the church to celebrate the restoration of the building. (MK)
