A say for the elderly

THE CHRIST CHURCH South Constituency Council is seeking  to set up a special organization within itself to deal with elderly affairs.
Deputy Chairman, Robert Morris said it was time to include the elderly when making decisions on matters which  affect them.
Speaking to the Press yesterday during the council’s second elderly consultation  in the Ivan Harewood Centre of the  Christ Church Parish Church, Morris  said their ultimate goal would be  to create a seniors social organization  to empower them to address challenges and seek solutions.
However, it was necessary to combine the energy of youth with the wisdom and knowledge of the aged. (CA)
