MINISTERS IN CHARGE of the Mount Pisgah Spiritual Baptist Church in Carrington Village, St Michael are pleading for at least a six-month stay, following a notice to vacate the premises.
Yesterday Bishop Marlon Jones and Reverend Odain Jackman said that under the Ministry of Housing and Lands’ notice to quit next Sunday could be the final day for services there.
Jones said: “We are appealing to the Government to extend the stay for at least another six months and maybe to the public if they have a place for sale or for rent that can be made available.”
The church was established three years ago and has a membership of 75.
