The Beacon Festival of Speed will bring the curtain down today at Bushy Park.
And new chairman of the Barbados Auto Racing League (BARL), Stefan Hinds, has said it will be a race meet with a difference as it would be a day/night event starting at 9 a.m. and ending around 7 p.m.
He said the league was happy that Beacon was still partnering with it in the sport and pointed out that it would be the third year the insurance company would be sponsoring the event speed.
“A total of 27 races are on the day’s card and will begin with a herring bone formation made up of drivers from Barbados Auto Racing League (BARL), the Barbados Karting Association (BKA), Super Bikes as well as the Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters (BADD),” Hinds said.
