Tall Barbados fast bowler Jason Holder has replaced injured Ravi Rampaul in the West Indies squad for the remainder of the Celkon Mobile Cup.
It is the only change to the squad for the Trinidad leg of the tournament following West Indies’ successful run in Jamaica where they beat Sri Lanka and India.
Rampaul suffered a sprained left ankle while bowling in the first match of the series at Sabina Park last Friday and is expected to be out of action for three weeks.
The 21-year-old Holder made his One-Day debut in Australia in February and has so far played two ODIs.
He was a member of the West Indies squad to the ICC Champions Trophy in England last month, but did not play.
Holder played in the recent One-Day matches for West Indies ‘A’ against Sri Lanka ‘A’ in Grenada.
West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo, who missed the second match of the series because of a groin strain, is in the squad.
Windies’ next match will be against India on Friday at Queen’s Park Oval. (HG)
