Attorney General: “Stay indoors”

Minister of Home Affairs and Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite urges Barbadians to stay indoors until the all clear is given.
He made these statements during a press conference at District Emergency Management (DEM) headquarters this morning.
“We are asking resident to stay indoors, to stay off the roads. We cannot continue to emphasize that we want Barbadians to take procedures and our messages more seriously,” Brathwaite said.
He also added that Parliament that was scheduled for this morning has been suspended.
Brathwaite also said that he was pleased with the actions of the MET office and the DEM for the work they have been doing in the wake of Tropical Storm Chantal.(AH)
