Two Bajans clock personal bests

TWO BARABADIAN athletes have clocked personal best times to advance to finals at the eighth IAAF World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine.
Sprinter Mario Burke won his 100 metres heat in a time of 10.49 seconds on Thursday to qualify for the final later with the fourth fastest time.
Tia-Adana Belle also advanced to the 400 metres hurdles final with a lifetime best of 58.81 seconds.
It is the fastest time going into Saturday’s final.
