Police are investigating the death of a man just outside the Cheapside market early this morning.
He is Anthony Giraud, 69, who lived at the Clyde Gollop Centre in Hindsbury Road, St Michael.
Police as well as curious onlookers gathered on the scene just after the incident occurred.
One eyewitness said the man was walking with friends and collapsed near the market.
