Hundreds have gathered at Bushy Park for the MQI/98.1The One Soca Royale/Party Monarch.
The Sweet Soca competition is up first and it is set to begin at 3:45pm.
Judges for the Sweet Soca competition are Jude Eastmond who is thechief judge , Stokely Murray, Gillian Cadogan, Jan Keizer, Adzil Stuart and Michael Grosvenor.
For the Party Monarch Competition, the judges ate Lesley Lett, the chief judge, Arturo Valentino, Melvin Alick, Cherie Bayley, Winston Welch and Amanda Cumberbatch. The Arbiter is Jessica Ashby who is an attorney at law.
The playing of the National Anthem has signaled the start of the show. Mac Fingall who is the MC for today’s event has already taken to the stage.
