THE?HARSH?MEASURES that have been instituted by the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) Government are a repudiation of everything that is Barbadian.
That’s the view of Opposition Leader Mia Mottley in her wrap-up presentation at a Barbados Labour Party (BLP)?mass meeting at Heroes Square, Bridgetown, last night.
Before a large crowd that braved steady rain, Mottley said the Government had introduced measures in last week’s Budget that would crush the dreams and aspirations of the poor.
She said that many Barbadians would struggle to pay tuition fees at the University of the West Indies.
Harsh blow!
