Barbadians are reminded that Land Tax Bills for 2013-2014 must be paid in full on or before Wednesday, September 11, if they are to receive the ten per cent discount which is allowed on all accounts.
A notice today from the Government Information Service stated that if payments were not completed by the end of the above-mentioned period, a five per cent reduction will be available for those who pay on or before Friday, October 11. It further added that discounts will be offered only for the current tax year.
Bills are to be paid at the main office in the old N.I.S Building, Fairchild Street, Bridgetown.
Individuals who are requesting an agricultural rebate are also being urged to start the application process early to avoid losing the ten per cent refund. (GIS)
