No more shelter for vocal three

THE THREE FEMALE RESIDENTS (above) who publicly spoke out against a battered women’s shelter have been put out.
The women met with the media yesterday, saying they had been told they were in breach of the shelter’s confidentiality agreement and had until 6 p.m. that day  to leave.
“They are saying we breached the rules, but we did not give our names or the name or location of the shelter. It’s because we went  to the papers,” they said.
In the MIDWEEK NATION,  the women said shelters were not doing enough to help women make it on their own, so many women ended up going back into the abusive relationships they were trying to escape.
