It was standing room only at the National Union of Public Workers’ headquarters in Dalkeith, St Michael, last night as more than 300 temporary workers expressed their concerns to unions officials over their future and other matters such as the recent non-payment of wages.
General secretary Dennis Clarke, deputy Roslyn Smith and acting president Akani McDowell promised to get back to workers next week and let them know what the next step will be. (MK)
