Krystal Boyea returned home to a hero’s welcome yesterday after scaling the 19 341-foot-high Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to boost international interest in Type I diabetes.
She is now among a minority of people worldwide to accomplish this feat.
The 25-year-old, who was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at age ten, was met at Grantley Adams International Airport with hugs and kisses by her parents, Cally and Susan Boyea, younger sister Kayla and several well-wishers.

No mountain too high!
