Road fatality in St Peter

Barbados recorded its ninth road fatality for the year yesterday. An accident occurred about 7.20 p.m on 10 September 2013, along Heywoods Road, St. Peter, resulting in the death of 79-year-old Cadmore Burnham, of Six Mens Village, St. Peter.
Mr. Burnham was at the time riding his bicycle along Heywoods Road, when he became involved in an accident with an omnibus owned by the Transport Board and driven by 54-year-old Carl Ifill.
Burnham was taken to the QEH by ambulance where later in the night he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
