Police are trying to identify a male body found floating off Browne’s Beach, St Michael about 4 p.m.
The deceased is of dark complexion, six feet tall and of medium build with black hair. The body, which police estimated to be a person in his late 20s or early 30s, has a gold stud in the ear.
At the time the Coast Guard retrieved the body from the sea just behind DaCosta Manning, it was clad in yellow swimming trunks. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 211 or 430-7676.
