A pastor and his family are counting their blessings after facing a near-death situation.
They were forced to get on their knees near their residence on Monday night, but the intention was not to pray.
A robber, pointing a gun in their direction, was demanding gold and when his demands were unmet, he shot the pastor.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting of Pastor Telston Allen, 54, of Brittons Hill, St Michael, who received a wound to his right leg around 9:25 p.m. and had to be transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) for treatment.
