This sight at SBI Distribution Inc. caused many a motorist travelling along the Spring Garden Highway to slow down and stare.
It appears that an accident involving a container created something of a domino effect involving some parked trucks and containers nearby.
When a WEEKEND NATION team passed by, men were working on righting the first container using a crane. SBI representatives remained tight-lipped on what happened, instead directing any queries to the directors of the company, none of whom were on site, and asking all “non-essential personnel” – mainly the Press – to leave the area. Here, the first container leaning heavily on a parked truck, which was the only thing keeping it upright. The pressure, however, caused the truck to lean on the parked container next to it, causing a minor domino effect down the line.
