Maintenance work will be carried out at the Richard Haynes Boardwalk over the next two months, starting next Monday.
The work will be done by John Edwards Contracting Inc., between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Work is expected to start from Accra Beach to the Coconut Court Hotel, and will be executed in stages.
Work being carried out will involve the removal of sand from under the Ipe decking, the replacement of damaged decking and the refastening of loose screws.
Members of the public are asked to follow the signs on display and comply with instructions and security measures by personnel on hand for their own safety.
