A policeman has been arrested and charged with money laundering.
He is Undwye John-Baptiste, 28, a constable of Bridge Road, St Michael. John-Baptiste was arrested and charged by the police’s Financial Crimes Investigation Unit for four counts of money laundering.
The constable’s charges arose out of another investigation into money laundering of over $90 000 involving Hasan Catlyn, 30, also of Bridge Road, who was charged with three counts of money laundering.
Both men are expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
