Over the weekend at the Darcy Beckles Invitational Classic held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, she was second to none.
At the nationals she finished runner-up behind attractive Saskia Griffith, who has now turned pro after triumphing at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Championships in Santo Domingo.
Burrowes, 26, a personal trainer at the Caribbean Development Bank, said it was the class of Saturday night’s competition that attracted nine girls.
The shapely Jeanna Johnson was second and the stylish Dominic Alleyne, clinched third place.
Leandra Linton was fourth, Rhadika Yearwood took fifth and promising teen Macara Thornhill completed the top six. (MK)
