BRITISH national Robert Matthew Hayward, 35, has been arrested and charged with four drug offences.
Hayward, who appeared in District A Magistrate Court yesterday, was charged with possession of one kilogram of cocaine, trafficking, possession with intent to supply and attempting to export the substance.
Last Thursday, Hayward was preparing to leave the island when he was interviewed by members of the Drug Squad at the Grantley Adams International Airport. A search of his suitcase revealed the cocaine in a false bottom.
