FRIENDS and family members of the NATION Publishing Co. came out in full support of the company’s 40th anniversary service held at the Church of St Mary, Bridgetown, today.
President of the church, The Reverend Dr Von E Watson, challenged the NATION to acknowledge God as the Biblical Job did in spite of his wealth.
“No matter what we achieve in this life we must remember that these things come from God … we are challenged to remember that all that we have is from God. No matter the benefits … we are duty bound to remember the source.”
Reverend Watson said if there were any doubts about the source of goodness one should remember the sentence that said we “brought nothing into this world and we take nothing out. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away blessed be the name of the Lord”. (JS)
