A special woman was toasted yesterday for her more than 40 years of tireless service to training young minds in Barbados.
Ormenta Hoyte, who recently retired from the teaching service, was almost brought to tears hearing tribute after tribute at a special service in her honour at Whitepark Wesleyan Holiness Church.
At the end of it, she was hugged and kissed by many of the children of Wesley Hall Infants School where she taught for the 26 years. They joined in thanking her for her love and dedication. (RL)
