Barbados’ singing superstar Rihanna has received the first ever American Music Awards Icon Award.
The 25-year-old also copped another award for Favourite Soul/R&B Female Artist, beating out Alicia Keys and Ciara.
Rihanna was also nominated for Artist Of The Year, Favourite Pop/Rock Female Artist and Favourite Soul/R&B Album. (BW)
