Local and visiting “foodies” turned out in their numbers for the 2013 Food &?Wine And Rum Festival and at each venue celebrated international chefs and award-winning Barbadian chefs served up a smorgasbord of fare, attracting large numbers.
From the opening night with sumptuous Bajan seafood served in the idyllic setting of the the Oistins Bay Garden, to Sizzle Street at Queen’s Park when some of Barbados’ best street food cooked by Barbadians was laid out for the eating, to the more exotic fare served up by noted American chefs Marcus Samuelsson, Anne Burrell, Aaron McCargo and others at venues like Lion Castle and The Cliff, food connoisseurs had a ball.
