Good response to Sunday shopping

Some store?owners and shoppers in Bridgetown are optimistic and hopeful of good sales this Christmas season.
This upbeat prediction is coming from them as owners opened their doors for a second Sunday of Christmas shopping from midday yesterday.
“[Shoppers] are definitely looking – that means they are interested. We have to start somewhere and the mere fact that people are interested is a good sign,” said Eddie Abed, managing director of Abed’s.
This year the fabric store has broadened its range of product with a lot more variety, which Abed said would hopefully stand the store in “good stead”. (LK)
